Raid Commands

Some urgent commands are used in our raids, which you should be familiar with. Failure to follow any of these will cause us to be very upset, and you won't like us when we're very upset.

1. PULLING [Alternatively "XXXX inc", where XXXX - mob name.] - Means a mob (alternatively add) is incoming, and the raid should adjust accordingly, position themselves, and get ready to fight.

2. I HAVE AGRO - ATTACK - The tank thinks he has enough aggro for the raid to start attacking. This command is usually omitted for most of our fights, as you are expected to be able to estimate your own aggro. For some fights, aggro will be called (this will be announced beforehand).

3. TANK DOWN - The tank has died, and all his aggro is lost. Everyone must stop dps immediately while the situation is stabilising, and a new tank tries desperately to gain aggro. DPS will be announced.

4. STOP DPS - The tank has been out-aggro'd. Everyone should stop DPS until they see the situation is stable again. This may also be used in situations when a boss may reset aggro or otherwise dps should slow down. Take a break and continue when you see that the mob has stuck to the tank for ~ 15 seconds.

5. DIE ALL - Everyone must die. Fleeing is forbidden in all instances, always, but when this command is given you must run to a place where you can be safely resurrected and wait to die.

6. STICK TO WALL [Alt: "Hug the wall"] - Due to aggro and/or fight mechanics, you must stay near a wall or bad things will happen. Range is not important here, even though you may be damaged by AoE, this is a calculated risk, and you are required to stay by the wall.

7. ALL MELEE - Another variation of the above, and once more you being in melee range is more important than you not getting damaged. Just go to the mob.

8. COME TO ME - Everyone must move, immediately. Drinking should be aborted, and any mobs still on you can and must be killed while on the run. Standing still is NOT an option!

9. STAY HERE - Everyone stays put on the spot given (or marked on mini-map) and waits for the next instruction.

10. ALL BACK - The opposite of "come to me", and will be used when the raid risks pulling aggro. Sometimes may be used as "stay back", in other words, if you've been given a "stay here", and some people move forward, "BACK" may be announced and meant only for those who deviate from the group.

11. DON'T ASSIST - Bad pull! The puller must die. Do not heal, do not assist, and preferably don't aggro the mob!
