Still terrible lag. It takes about 10 seconds to mount and then another 10 for your mount to actually appear. Not worth playing as it takes ages to do anything.

I'll see by tonight, I really would like to play, without destroying my experience.
Yesterday, despite several problems, I quite enjoyed it.
The intro questline is simply awesome, and I like the "cinematic" feel.
As everyone, I am a bit sad about garrisons, which should be the focal point of the expansion, struggling so much. I hope they manage to fix it.

Tried Teamviewer as well but for some reason it couldn't wake my PC from Sleep mode despite it claiming so in the documentation. >.>Also: yay, 1200 in queue... thanks teamviewer

It worked for me, but I started the game an hour before I finished work... which has been a big mistake

Spot 1018. 800 minutes wait time. For 1 hour I got from 1300 to 1000. At least lesson learnt. Start TV earlier.

4 hours and 15 min in queue. F#)#)K this. Only way to get online is to log on in the early morning.

Still had a 1200 man queue at 2:40 am CET this morning ... and a notice for realm downtime at 5 am ... I went back to bed 
Now it is waiting for the servers to get up so I can play a bit before the planned occupations for the weekend pop up.
(It really is the first time I see this much problems with a WoW Expansion)

My queue timer now says 367 minutes, so a little more than 7 hours.

If you are stuck in logging restart the game.
Putting the problems aside I think the expansion is really good so far, huge diversity of mobs, interesting quests, bonus objectives
... etc and the zones are really beautiful. One of the things I don't like are the rares, all zones are full of them and their respawn time is very short and they don't feel like rares at all, WoTLK rares were real rares . Looking forward to having a look 
into raids.
