Boy the game is fun...
I am usually not able to play 3d shooters because of the bobbing making me queasy, Blizzard seems to have the right recipe for allowing me to play nonetheless.
I totally suck, but I'm learning. I havent found a character I am really into yet, but I'm toying with Bastion atm.

If shooters makes you queasy, try to set your field of view on max if such option is present in game (Overwatch FoV is 103 by default).
As for overtwatch. It's fun game yes. Imo tho, people give it waaay too much praise. Its solid shooter, but its nothing revolutionary out of box.
My fav chars - > Soldier 76 and Hanzo.

Playing it as well and enjoying it a lot, you can find me online as "rappscallion".
Favorite Offense character: Pharah, but I don't play much Offense as my aiming sucks.
Favorite Defense character: Tie between Mei and Junkrat.
Favorite Tank: Winston, like his mobility and his Tesla-gun is easy to aim with.
Favorite Support: Lucio. Like that his healing is passive so you can shoot and scout as well. The speed boost is great for getting to objectives quickly.
Favorite Offense character: Pharah, but I don't play much Offense as my aiming sucks.

On a more serious note, Junkrat really helped me with my targeting speed issues.
From time to time i lack the occasional direct hit, but overall I really like the style.

Both McCree and Pharah are quite easy to kill when they pop their ultimates. That is, if they don't kill you with it.
My favourite characters depend a lot on the map. Pharah works in most maps but on control I might pick Lúcio if someone hasn't already. His speed buff is extremely useful on those maps. Whenever I'm on defending side, I pick either Torbjörn or Symmetra, depending on map. If no one takes sniper, I go Widowmaker and sometimes Hanzo to learn to play him. On escort I either take Pharah if tank is already chosen, or if I go tank, it's Reinhardt.
If I had to pick a favourite characters from Defensive, Offensive, Tank and Support heroes, they would at the moment be Pharah, Torbjörn, Reinhardt and Symmetra. Least favourite character is Winston. Only time I played as him was during Mystery Heroes brawl where you spawn as a random hero upon death, and I didn't like him at all. On quick play he is one of the characters I have not played at all, the other being McCree. Looking at statistics, my five most played characters are (in order) Widowmaker, Symmetra, Reaper, Mercy and Pharah, while I have spent least time on Winston, McCree, Genji, Zarya and Mei.
I have recorded some of the highlights and put them on my YouTube-channel. Missing some recent ones though but I think I'll update it once a week with three new videos starting next month.

-Pharah/McCree depending on the scenario
So I can play one per role decently, except for a builder.

So yeah... dabbled with rating game... aaaand went back to quick play.
To be honest I think if you want to do that, you should do that with a team.
The amount of toxic people is absurd, even at the lowest levels.

People were already toxic on competitive when it was still on PTR. But yeah, it's definitely something that should be played with a team that you know well and where cooperation really works.

I just started playing Overwatch and think it may just be my new fav game!
